Blue Cabbage

Simple and easy dish that a lot of parents will agree; this cabbage dish is not only a comfort food for
most of vegetarians but also to people who doesn’t have a lot of time but wanted to serve a nice and hearty
appetizer.
Ingredients:
1 Head purple cabbage; chopped fine
1 small Peeled onion; quartered
4 Whole cloves; up to 6
1 large Apple; quartered
1 tablespoon Sugar; up to 2
1 tablespoon Flour; up to 2
2 tablespoons Oil
3 tablespoons Vinegar
Instructions:
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Cooking Steps:
- In large Dutch oven heat oil then combine together the onion, cabbage,
cloves, apple, vinegar, ½ of sugar.
- Add enough water to cover the ingredients inside. Bring into a boil and let
it simmer for a minutes until tender.
- Dust with flour and remaining sugar before
serving.
